Packed lunches will be provided, and you'll have the option to trek the massive Lava Tower, weather permitting. As you gain altitude, it's normal to experience some effects of the elevation, such as headaches and shortness of breath. After lunch, you'll descend from Lava Tower and head to the Barranco Camp at 3950 meters. The descent of approximately 680 meters is beneficial for acclimatization.
